California State Capitol
Spring Internship Program
Each year, a competitive cohort of 20 undergraduate and graduate students are selected to represent California's next generation of leaders. Interns are placed to work part-time,
in-person in the office of an elected official at our great state's capitol in Sacramento.
This is a 10 week program with an elected official, with an additional 6 week program of close mentorship, professional workshops, networking, and leadership and advocacy training. Interns also receive a letter of recommendation from our Executive Director, resume and interview polishing, career mapping, and a stipend of $2,500.
Applicants must be 18+ years of age; in-progress of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree or have already obtained a Bachelor's degree.

Statements must be submitted using 1-inch margins, Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, and must not exceed one page.
